After destroying it, climb down the second ladder and make your way down the tower. Destroying its power block form will reveal another inner enemy. The orb is very handy as it allows you to quick get in close and slash away. Attack with your sword - your wand is useless against its armor. Remember, you're invincible mid-roll, so dodge-roll over the electric wave. While this enemy isn't too challenging, watch out for their ground attack which sends a ripple of electricity to the floor and across the platform. Along the way you may encounter Faeries so be sure to block and have either the Magic Orb or Magic Wand on hand to fend them off if they're too far from reach.Īt the end of the path climb up the lit ladder to encounter a power block enemy. Once the elevator stops, run down the stairs and follow the path, making sure to stop and restore your health at the save point. There's no map for this particular area but since several of the available paths will be cut off, finding your way around this area won't be too difficult. The platform is actually an elevator, which will take you Inside the Ziggurat. Enter and run through the doorway at the end of the hall where you'll find an empty room with a lit platform. At the top of the hill, you will find the entrance to the Ziggurat, which is open if you powered up the obelisks in the Quarry. Take out all the scavengers on the way or ignore them and dodge their attacks. Run all the way down and then follow the tracks up the hill until you reach the purple power strip, which you can follow to go into the next unknown area. Don't worry, you can simply exit to Main Menu and you'll be back at the entrance to the Quarry and can complete those steps first.Ĭlimb down the steel ladder on the left and drop into the area below. You can explore the area and take out the enemies, but you won't be able to progress as the door to the Ziggurat - at the top of the hill in an area with lots of mining machines - will not be powered. If you go down to the below area without having activated the obelisks, you may get stuck. Warning: There is a broken ladder leading down that acts as a point of no-return for this particular area. Make your way down and instead of running towards the steel tracks, run along the edge to find a hidden passageway to the next area over on the left. Now that you have the Scavenger's Mask on, you'll be able to approach them and the crystal without the risk of draining your HP. Run down the fight of stairs and follow the path until you see a group of Scavenger Miners hacking away at a black crystal. Once you're outside you'll see a rope you can untie to climb down and follow the grass path all the way down to the base of the mountain. Inside one of them is the Scavenger's Mask ability card, which if equipped, will let you walk through the Quarry without being affected by the black miasma.Įquip the Scavenger's Mask and use the wooden ladder on the right side to climb up and exit outside. In the next room you'll find a bunch of boxes you can break along with a few treasure chests. This second route is admittedly a little harder to go through since you'll be more exposed to the dark miasma, but either path will take you to where you need to go. But from there, you can keep running all the way down, killing any Scavenger enemies in the way and then run down the stairs to the other side where you'll can pull the lever to open the gate.Īlternatively, you can take the middle road instead and try your best to avoid the dark miasma while fighting off the Scavenger enemies. You can get a running start and quickly roll over it, despite taking the HP drain. If you climb up and run along this path you'll run into a glob of dark miasma blocking your way. Immediately upon entering the Monastery you'll see a wooden ladder to the left. There's two ways you can go about crossing through the Monastery, which essentially an extremely deadly hallway:
